hazard switch wiring order
When removing the hazard switch the wires disconnected from the female connector.Only one wire remains connected
89 [COLOR=green ! important][COLOR=green ! important]Ford [COLOR=green ! important]Mustang[/color][/color][/color] lx 2.3 l 150k miles the prongs inside the switch body are labeled (left - right) L E R F...top S G I....bottom the wires are as follows: Double (2 wires connected) - Black Red white Double - Blue orange/blue white orange yellow green Double - red blue the Blue wire still attached corresponds to the ( S ) prong on the switch i have called all the dealerships looking for the edtm on this( they gave em away years ago :P) ,tried the local mustang club, tried all the electrical repair shops( none could find a better shcematic for this than in the haynes manual),autozone, Goggle, and still trying the forums ![]() if any one can pop thier switch and take a look id appreciate it the removal is easy takes aobut 30 secs it looks to me the gt series is the same dash setup as the lx but you guys would know alot better than me 1989 mustang lx 2.3 1989 |
