P0758 Boys, not lookin' good...

Well this week my car has been acting up. It is having a hard time shifting into 2nd, like it will just wind out first and thats it, if i let off the gas it will shift, barely but will, Its a 97 Z24 Automatic, I added Tri-Pak today, local shop recommends it as he had the same problem in his truck and this worked, nothign yet, said it could take a day or so to work, but anyways Check Engine Light came on, I got P0758, Shift Solenoid B Electrical is what it is.....anyone have a clue what to do here? I really don't want to have to replace my tranny.....also could the Shiftplus have something to do with it? I never have it on, only at the track.....I really need help because it is winding first out like a b*tch.........oh sometimes the car will run fine and it will shift like nothing every happened to it, I'm really confused and hope someone here knows something about it before I take a hammer to the car, getting sick of Cavaliers, they always break down...........
