Safc Neo (apexi)

hi
i have a 96 eclipse gs-t
i planned on getting the safc neo (apexi) with 650cc injectors
but i was wandering if there is any piece that you can buy to put it in your dashboard or mount it where on the 2nd gen eclipse there is 2 opening that blow your air out for air condition if i could put it right there
sorry for the confusion.

Re: Safc Neo (apexi)

The older AFC models used to come with a mount to mount them there... The Neo might too... If not, I'm sure you can buy one somewhere online...

Re: Safc Neo (apexi)

Ok, I just did some reading on the Neo... Apparently the only difference is that it offers more tuning points than the SAFC and SAFC2... It says its more compact, so I'm assuming its just thinner than previous versions?... I donno if that really makes it that much better or not... I would go with the SAFC2 just cause its gonna be cheaper now that the Neo is out. lol

But anywho...

Is this the type of thing your talking about for it?

Re: Safc Neo (apexi)

I have the neo and i like it, but my friend has the safc2 and its pretty much the same. If you need i can take a pic of how i have it mounted when i get home. Its right under the cd player, it fits perfectly for me

I'd like to see a picture... I was planning on mounting mine elsewhere, but I wanna see how much clearance you had between the radio and the trim by mounting it there...

Re: Safc Neo (apexi)

I had to take that plastic trim that goes around the cd player off, and it fit in there perfectly with those little velcro stickers. When im back in town and we get our internet working again ill post a picture.

Re: Safc Neo (apexi)

Ah, yeah it doesn't fit in there like I hoped it would... Guess I'll just have to finishing making my custom mount for it...
