1985 chevy s10 car wont start

i got ran off the road and the back end hit a tree.. the truck was fine until i turned it off...now for some reason it wont start...its trying to start......was thinking it could be a fuel shutoff switch...anybody have this problem before?? any advice would be kewl...!!

sounds like you may have had a rusted sender line and it finally snapped apart when you hit the tree.Not getting gas,or not getting enough to keep it running.You will have to look under the blazer behind the L.R. tire make sure you have a good light to shine over the top of the gas tank there should be 4 lines going to the sender1 3/4 of an in. that goes to a big hose to the filler neck then 3 smaller ones. good luck on this one ! I had the same type of problem with mine.had to put a sender a tank and some fuel line.
