Can Someone Help Me Out?

ok i've gotta 95 coupe with a d15b7, the previous owner completly neglected it so theres alot of stuff i had to replace and fix, Here's what was replaced; head gasket, valve cover gasket n groments, tune up (wires, plugs, cap n rotor etc) clutch kit, Main Bearings; Connecting Rod Bearings, Rings, Thrust Washers, oil pan gasket, timing belt, water pump... The problem is this, the engine idles (lopes) erraticlly from 1 grand to 2 warms up n idles LOW at about 250-350 rpms, there's a knocking sound from the lower motor but it doesn't sound like a bearing more like the cylinder is firing before it reaches tdc or a perhaps a thrust washer came off, any hits, tips or thoughts of any sort would be very usefull, thanks

You getting a check engine light? Could be your IAC valve. Doubt it's a vacuum leak if your idle goes that low once it warms up.

Re: Can Someone Help Me Out?

Yea i gotta check engine light and i hooked up and jumper wire to the terminal to check what code it was and as soon as i turn the ignition it blinks once real fast then blinks once for a few seconds and repeats. the book tells me that thats a code one but its not making sense while it just now poped up after doing an overhaul? i did do a valve adjustment prior to the overhaul tho... n im pretty sure the iacv's bad its had an idle problem sense i had it but nothing this severe...

The codes will flash a long light for "10" and a short blip for "1." For instance, 2 long flashes and 3 short is code 23. There will be a long pause in between codes and they will repeat over and over again.
