94 cutlass supreme wont turn over.
Hi
I have a 94 supreme with the 3.4 dual overhead cam engine. The timing belt went and I replaced it. It ran for a while then I put it in the Garage. After about a month I went to start it and the battery was dead. I boosted it, it was ok for a while. this happened 2 or 3 times. then one day I could no longer boost it. So I thought the battery is dead. I put a new battery in and it doesn't start it cranks very slowly 2 or 3 times and then the battery seems dead again. Now I am stumped I checked cranking voltage it is way to low. So thinking I put the battery in my other car to see just incase no problem started the car right away. Anyone anywhere have any Ideas. Thanks fstilts |

Sounds like your boosting toasted your starter.
When using a booster you can actually melt the solder thats inside the starter motor, I've done it myself- live and learn. Hope that helps.

The starting issue I had was, at first intermittent...was the crank sensor.
