thats alot of hp for only 150ish mph. I guess its different with electric cars. Interesting idea using in hub batteries. I think the tesla looks a ton better, but its not as practical

i think its because most electric cars dont have a drive shaft or drive system, the motors are directly connected to the wheels, so you have 4 wheels each having there own motor. So id imagine gearing would be the reason it cant go any faster.

Somehow I doubt that will be the case. Maybe true for those who find it necessary to buy brand new cars, but from what I've gathered most people don't buy brand new cars. I've seen cars and trucks that have to be over 25 years old still going and people love them; especially the trucks. I foresee in 10 years people will be driving 1997-2007 model trucks or cars.
