Exclamation Help Diagnose 2000 Durango issue

OK...
So I bought another car and am trying to sell my Durango. It has been a really great vehicle the whole time I have owned it.
Of course.. now that I am trying to sell it.. there is an issue. It has been sitting for about 2 weeks while I am advertising it.

My husband washed and waxed it etc.. and he comes in the house and tells me the car won't shut off. he had the key in his hand and it was still running!
Also the power locks stopped working and the air cond fan.
The wierdest part is, that when he shut off the air cond.. the car shut off!
(when the car WAS off, the panel for the a/c was lit)

He thinks its the cellanoid. (I checked the fuse box, but nothing seems blown)

ANYBODY COME ACROSS THIS?? WHAT to do? Thanks in advance!
