Question The fast factory sport sedans...

I am right now thinking between 4 fast 4 door cars under $25,000 US. The four are - Mazdaspeed Protege, Nissan SE-R Spec V, Dodge SRT-4, Subaru Impreza WRX Sedan, and VW Jetta GLS in the order of favorite to least favorite. Which one should I get? What is the fastest? And are there any other fast 4 door sedans that are worthy of racing?

Dude, get the speed protege, trust me. The suspension rivals that of the WRX and Lancer Evolution VII. Its gonna be the best car in power/handling available upon its realease, but be careful, only 1,750 will be released in teh U.S.

No contest, WRX.

Dont get me wrong, I love my Spec V but its no match for a WRX.

Aftermarket parts are plentyful for the WRX, plus you get AWD.
Too bad its kinda harsh on the eyes

The other cars you mention are nice, but have you ever experienced torque steer on a FWD?

Mazdaspeed

You know why you should get the MAZDASPEED Protoge???

It's as good as the other cars and it's a LIMITED PRODUCTION VEHICLE. So if unique is your thing that's the way to go.

Also, if you wanted to upgrade you won't have to go through the hassle of prepping for a turbo cuz you already have one. All you need to do is upgrade the turbo. well... and other stuff but it will save you some trouble. It looks good too.

good luck!

Mazdaspeed

ok ok

that's just my opinion, they are all good cars hehehe but just think about it this way...

Don't worry too much about performance, they are all fast and GOOD in their own ways, and you can always mod them to be better in areas you think they should be.

Go for what you think you can live with LOOKS wise, cuz in the end that's what it's all about

*note: GO SEE THE MAZDASPEED PROTOGE. the interior is sooo nice. you gotta see it to believe it.
