Exclamation Launch question

hey guys whass goin on
i have an '88 accord lxi coupe, 5 speed, and was wonderin with a brand new (broken in) OEM clutch, what would be a good rpm to launch my car? i dont want to bog it , or get a lot of wheelspin (haha) i just want a good takeoff. any suggestions?
oh, and also, i have about 105k on my car and after my crank seal is replaced i'm considering nitrous. a 50 shot is soundin good to me, but i have no reference point for how much NAWZZ (jk) my car will take. any ideas?

thanks guys i appreciate it.

Re: Launch question

1), as far as the launch, just practice, and see for yourself what rpms gets you out of hte hole quickest. Start adding 500rpms each time, until you get bad wheelspin, then back it down a notch.

2) please don't ever say NAWZZ again, that is 1 way to ensure you wont get a serious answer ever again.

3) I definantly wouldn't go larger than a 50 shot, and I'm make darn sure my engine was in good enough shape to handle it. Also make sure you are getting enough fuel to compensate, ie, a wetshot would probably be best.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Re: Launch question

no i saw it, I'm just saying, even if you are joking. Once somebody starts, typically 10-20 people jump on the bandwagon with their own Fast adn Furious quotation, and then the thread goes to all hell.

To add a "codger's" comment, if you lurk at this forum for a while, you'll see that most people here try their best to communicate in English. Their are exceptions, but not many.
