Unhappy Please help with cutting out

Hi all. Right i have a 5.8 e350 1992 day van that starts great when cold but after a few minutes when u put it into drive or reverse as soon as u touch the throttle it cuts out.Now i have checked if this is a fuel problem but the pump is running fine and it actually just floods trying to restart it.But if u leave it to cool back done she will start again but the process is repeated. Please help !

Re: Please help with cutting out

check the tp valve (throttle position valve) it's located on the throttle body. The TP valve adjusts the air intake when you excellerate. You may also want to check the IAC valve (idle air control valve) it's on the throttle body also.

Talking Re: Please help with cutting out

Ok sorted this out myself .Turned out to be the Pcm temp sender.was fooling the pcm into thinking it was over heating and so it was shutting the injectors dowe.if u think u have the same problem just pull the connector off the sender and run it.Engine light will stay on but it will run fine.Only cost a few quid for a new one.Hope this helps someone else one day.
