There HKS kansai pillow ball tension rods.

i dont really get what your asking? The tension rods allow for more adjustment and better feel and get rid of the rubber stock rod ends. Not to mention there stronger. The only thing i can think of those plates are for are mounting them to something, or there is another part they offer that connects to that particular metal plate. But no other tension rods iv seen have them, so i thought id ask.

Re: What are these for?
I think its spl, but anyhow they sell add on plates that attach to the tension rods that help to move air over the brakes to offer better cooling
those look like that could be what they are |

Re: What are these for?
oh alright it does make sense. Thanks guys. But i just dont get why they would waste time putting 2 holes in each of them. there has to be an add on or something. Maybe a director plate for "more" air-flow. Im sure its in the super jdm hks parts catalouge.

Re: What are these for?
the holes are where you bolt in the actual deflector plate.

Re: What are these for?

Re: What are these for?
What is this mess?
-The bracket is for the Brake Air Deflectors. -For strength? WTF? its only welded on one side. if it was welded on both you wouldn't even be able to adjust caster -Those are FAAAAAAARRRRRR From SPL Tension rods. -SPL V2/3 Tension Rods are the strongest on the market. Hands Down. |

Re: What are these for?
I think you can trust HKS kansai, theyve been around awhile and are kinda like a sub company/garage whatever of hks so I dont doubt the quality of them...
