Re: Greg Dupree in the 9's!

i figured it wouldnt be too long...last run i saw, he had a fully built motor and the car is capable of 30psi or a little less. that particular run, the engine hadnt been broken in yet so he only ran it at 20psi and ran a 10.2.

that car and his set-up is absolutely amazing. i wouldnt be surprised if Ash catches up to him in the future especially with Ash customizing and taking full advantage of absolutely every downfall in the Z possible. from a full custom wider mandrel bent boost piping set-up to larger more efficient intercoolers. not to mention his tuning....

Re: Greg Dupree in the 9's!

Nice run. Anyone know what kind of tires he's running, by chance? Looked like slicks (pretty much had to be) but does anyone know if he did any mods to fit wider tires or anything?

Great vid, too. Awesome quality (probably the best I've seen), nice and big, played right...good stuff.

It's shit like this that just makes me what to put a Z31 into the 9s so bad...so I will...

Re: Greg Dupree in the 9's!

I know what MTs are. MTs are to drag racing what pizza sauce is to Pizza Hut...

I figured he was running slicks. Hooking up the power required to get a Z32 into the 9s would require slicks. I was just wondering if they were stock fitment...

he has aftermarket wheels for drags...they are like your basic american racing type wheel. 5 spoke design...so no, his are not stock fitment.

but there are a few guys running 10's with stock fitment slicks.
