head torque/valve adjust????????

i need these and fast for a 97 2.2

head bolt toques

valve adjustments/the specs (my dads doing the job)i dont know name

please help me its already snowing and i have to get this running so i dont have to walk to school on monday and i need to get a job

Re: head torque/valve adjust????????

Head bolts should be:
Long bolts - 46 lb-ft + 90 degrees
Short bolts - 43 lb-ft + 90 degrees
Finger tighten all bolts. Presuming the bolt holes are numbered:
1 2 3 4 5
6 7 8 9 10
with 1-5 being the rear. Tighten to the intial value in the following order 3-8-7-2-4-9-6-1-5-10. Then, repete that order tightening the additional 90 degrees.

I presume by valve adjustment you mean the lifters? If so, they are automatic, you don't have to do anything except get them in there straight.
