Question 89 Beretta shift knob replacment?

Is it possible to take off the stock shift knob of a 89' manual transmission to replace it with a performance one?

Im new to this site and to berettas so if you could give me any helpful hints about the cars or this site it would be greatly appreciated.

I've never tried to take mine off but one would think that it is possible. Don't go by my advice though, wait for someone to post that has done it.

I figured it out. there is a star like screw in the front of the knob hidding from all of us hard workin people trying to live on the Beretta legacy. lol.

lol yea it took me like half an hour of pulling and smaking it around til i finally saw the screw underneath
