Unhappy The curse of the 240SX

I guess its official, the 240 aint a blessing anymore. i think its more like a curse, or probably my weakness for acting stupid...what do you guys think?

Everything was going swell when all of a sudden...

1) They crash me
2) I crash
3) Ticket for racing (case is still going on)
4) My car gets jacked
5) Stereo gets jacked
6) stereo gets jacked again (in the parking lot of my church!!! I still cant believe it)
7) speeding ticket (i got this one yesterday, i wasnt even trying and it was in OC picking up my girlfriend from school) along with no proof of insurance because it hasnt come in the mail yet.
8) Parents "hate" me and my car

I have spent some good times in this car. To me its the best. But i got to accept that if i keep it, it will lead me to disaster. So im gonna try and sell it. With my racing case still going on, i was trying to be more careful, but it's so easy to go fast in this car that the cop got me on radar, so now, im doomed. This is probably gonna screw me over. I dont think i can fight this one. And i could only go to traffic school once, so im saving it just in case they let me off the hook with my racing case. Either way, im gonna pay a lot of mmoney and my insurance is gonna go up. In conclusion, im gonna have to either take the MTS, drive a honda, or a really crappy car.
That's my soap opera for the day. What about you guys?

six to one, half dozen the other. i'd say keep the 240.

possible solutions: install stereo that needs to be either plasma cut out or chainsawed out. or, get a good alarm. don't speed. if you do, do it at the right time and in the right places. if you've been driving long enough, you'd know what i mean.

Re: The curse of the 240SX

sounds like my soap opera, a little. speed a little in the 240, get my balls busted by the popo. Haul ass in the 03 Maxima, wave as I fly by cops, and they wave back..... who knows.

Re: The curse of the 240SX

i have a van dont matter how fast i drive never got pulled over...when i drive my 240, i could be going only 7 miles over speed limit, and i get pulled over...i think it depends on the car a lil bit.... my dads best friend is a cop, he told me that if they see a van speeding the think its some old dude hurrying for church...but if they see a customized car they think its some kid looking to race......

so as for you my friend...just keep it cool...get an antiradar too...that helps a lil bit

Re: The curse of the 240SX

yea thats another reason i bought a new daily cruiser. Sure it may not be accepted by most. But damn its damn near impossible to get a speeding ticket in one. Its so slow that when i drive my STOCK 240 it freaking feels fast lolololol, im serious. It took like 1 minute on the highway in 5th gear to get from 60-70 lol. Plus i get about 35 miles to the gallon and have enough room to fit 5 people comfortably. Bash the scion xb all you want, but god damn im nothing but happy and satisfied with it. Drives ok, good gas mileage, VERY VERY roomy, has ac , and a radio, and doesnt need maintanence once a month. AND best of all, no douche bags with there stock ass civics or what not TEMPT you to race every 2 seconds. You just cruise at your own liking. And uh sex is damn easy, all the seats fold completely flat like one huge bed. And road head is a dream, there's no center console, cept the shifting part is still there, but the seats are so high and the shifter is so low you can just reach under her and shift real quick. To be honest i love this thing lol.

dont speed...a cop told me that they are lookin for young kids in small sport compacts so if ur drivin a 240 or and compact only speed where u kno cops arent...and always keep ur eyes open otherswise ull get busted...dont sell it jus cause shit happens jus do things to counteract it like get an alarm and drive smarter it aint hard

Know your route. Know the places cops like to sit and wait.
You might just have back luck.
It might wear off though, grab a big cheap white van and lay low for a while.

Re: The curse of the 240SX

Hey its not the car, trust me. I have a cuzin that races since he was 13, started in Europe now moved here and had civics, accords, is300, 2000 celica gts, he had everything. and only got pulled over about 5 times.
Now i have another cuzin, he doesnt even try to race, he has trucks, and a ford taurus and he gets pulled over at least once a month. once he even got like 5 a month...so its all about luck and how (street smart you is)

yea get an antiradar ( a good one) dont cheap out on them. and a good security system. and you should be set i guess.

take care
