87, s10, 4 wheel drive.

Hey guys, having some problems finding a part, Was hoping someone might have a web source.

On a 87, s-10, 6cly, auto, 4 wheel drive, Behind the transmission, before the transfer case, There is a Bolt pattern plate, changes fromt he 4 bolt on the tranny to the 5 bolt for the transfer case. I think this is also the piece that the Mount from the cross member goes to. Its about 8 inch's deep.

I believe the piece your talking about is the Adapter. It bolts to the cross member. Try this guy I know he is far from you but he shipped me a posi rear to my door awhile back for $150.00.

Call one of the places with the same trans and see if they will sell you just that part.
