Please help!!!!
My car was running fine then the battery light, the trac light and the anti-lock light came on. When I made it home and cut the car off and tried to start it again nothing happened. It wouldn't turn over. It lit up but all the lights were dim. ANY SUGGESTIONS? |

Re: First Battery Light Now It Won't Start But The Battery Can't Be Dead!
I'm thinking either the battery or the alternator!!!!!

Re: First Battery Light Now It Won't Start But The Battery Can't Be Dead!
The alternator has gone bad and the battery is probably drained to the point where it will not start the car but will allow the lights to work. I would also check the grounds at the block and the hot and ground connections at the battery. Have the battery recharged and once the alternator is replaced then the car should run fine. The battery light will come on when the alternator quits not just due to low battery voltage.
The antilock and trac light came on due to low voltage and should go off once everything gets back to normal. |
