Air dam

I hit a racoon a while back which broke my front bumper and riped off my air dam under the car. Is this peice important, what will happen if i just leave it off.

If you are talking about the black piece of plastic that runs under the front of the car you are ok without it. Even if the entire front end were gone you should have no problems in normal driving although it does promote airflow into the radiator.

yea i've been driving all winter without it but i wasn't sure if summer would be different thanks.
