Question 1999 323i BMW

I have a problem and need help. When I begin to take off in my car it seems to not really want to go. When I give it gas it will slowly begin to go. I can be driving and decide to give it a little more gas the RPM's will go up a little but the car dose not seem to pick up mph like it use too. If i stomp on the gas while driving the cars rpm will go up and the car will take off fast. It seems to be problemed when at low rpms. Dose any one know of any thing I could check. I need help.

Re: 1999 323i BMW

My husbands car had a similar problem. It is a '99 323 at around 65k miles. We just found out that the problem was that it needs a new transmission. Bummer. I have seen that other people have a similar problem with the BMW's.
