Woohoo! Just got back from the concert. It was @#$%*ing awesome

I've been to very few concerts, most of which sounded like crap live, but Zombie and the crew did an awesome job. Lots of smoke, fire, demon stuff, and of course Zombie! There was a big devil-face prop on the centerstage and they did some cool stuff with the lighting to make it look like it was moving. The whole place was hopping. He also did a few songs from the White Zombie times...Thunderkiss 65, More Human than Human to name a couple, and some songs from Hellbelly Deluxe....Dragula, Living Dead Girl...and course a ton of songs off of the Sinister Urge CD. Overall it was an awesome show and I would pay to see it again. Thank goodness it was outdoors though cuz there was a whole lotta smoking going on....and not just cigarettes either LOL. Toward the end the smoke started to bother my allergies but I didn't care.

Sweet - Dragula has to be my favourite. I can't remember where I first heard it but I was hooked.

last year at a huge concert called river rave this ratty old guy was passing his around and then he passed it to this ten year old kid. It was just wrong. And the kids older sister was there too. oi

I've loved Rob since Thunderkissin' 196-5 yeah! between myself and Shawn we have all of White Zombies stuff, up to Hellbilly...and even the vinyl of La Sexorsisto(its cool glow in the dark vinyl!)

Thanks everyone, we had an awesome time. The seats were general seating so we went where we could get in...not too shabby, we were about 100 feet away from him

And yes, there was a lot of [whisper]marijuana[/whisper] going around, cloves, cigarettes you name it. We don't smoke, but there was plenty 2nd hand to go around (yuk).

Lord V. you best get out and get that CD, lots o good mixes on there.

I'm hoping to see Rob with the Ozz Fest tour this summer (please oh please oh please!! what a line-up that is shaping up to be, with Black Sabbath and System of a Down co-headlining, and Rob rumoring to be the headliner for the second stage.. and I'm getting real curious about seeing Kittie, who I think is on the bill too; I am loving that Pink Floyd "Run Like Hell" version I keep hearing).

Anyway, glad you had a good time, Kat! :sun:
