Question 4 door MT cavy

Hey. Does anyone know if you can get a 96-99 cavalier with a 2.2 ecotec motor and a 5speed in a 4 door model??? If you can help me find one, that'd be great. Thanx

ok.....so i can get a 4 door MT cavy, but right now i have 98 4 door with an AT 2200 motor, and we are having a few problems with it. Im afraid the motor will be more prone to crap out with a MT. I also heard that the 2.4's arent very good either

Re: 4 door MT cavy

mines a Automatic tranny as well with the 2200 motor.... 99 with 49700 miles on her... still strong. My girl friend has a bone stock 99 coupe 2.2L manual and with just the addition of an intake i am pulling away from her now with no problem. Be good to the car and it will treat u the same. If i took the rims i have on my car i could smoke her with no problem...what problems are you having?

well....it needs a new headgasket sometime soon, and runs pretty warm all the time. And every once in a while whenever u get on it, it will shake and lose power momentarily.
