spark plug question

I have a stupid question. Is it easy to get to the plugs in a 96 GA and where can I find them. Do I need to get underneath the car to find them, I'm thinking of replacing them soon and would rather do this myself but don't know what I'm looking at yet. Every other car I had was older and the plugs were easy to find and get to.

Re: spark plug question

Not exactly sure where the plugs are, but they should be highly easy to get to. either right on top, sticking out the front (my guess), or sticking out the back

Re: spark plug question

there is a plate on the top of your engine that probably says "QUAD 4" or "2.4L" on that plate there are four 1/2" bolts. remove them and unplug your ignition control module on the right side of the plate. pull up on the plate and underneath will be 4 black boots , these are your "spark plug wires" and inbetween your two cams will be you spark plugs. easy to replace and maintain. took me a whille before i figured out what was going on there too. anymore questions?
