Flame coming out muffler

i am just wondering, how do you get a car to make a flame come out of the muffler. If you ever seen initial d with the evo shooting fire out of the muffler. I dont want to know about the flamethrower kit. I want to know the real deal.

theres a kit u need its got sparkplugs in ur muffler its cool looking but piontless plus u wont be able to use it while the car is in motion

Something tells me this kid watches 'Pimp My Ride'. They hooked up a girl's Mustang, i believe, and one of the mods was having flames shoot out of the exhaust.
Ya know, if he can get enough thrust from the exhaust, he can bolt a propeller to the front bumper, open his doors, and possibly take flight!! OMG, why didn't the rest of us think of this?

correct me if im wrong but if u have a pretty big turbo boosting alot and if u go wot and realese reall fast the gas it will actually blow raw fuel out teh exhaust and the exhaust turbine will blow it out so hot taht it will ignite and it will create flames. but u cant have a cat or anytign else restrictive. just somethign i heard. correct me if im worng

yup that can happen donesn't need to be a big turbo though.
cars with no exhaust/cat N/A do that too if rich my motorcylce does that its fucking scary looking

i have a video of an rx7 shooting flames out the exhaust, on purpose. if someone tells me where i can upload it, i will so people can watch it. oh and the flames arent from a flamethrower.
