Si head on d15 bloc?

Hi fellow honda lovers,
First time checkin in. My friend just wrecked is Si and I wanted to know if there's any benefits to take is engine head and put it on my d15 (the head seems ok but the lower part doesnt so no whole engine swap there). Also , Is there any other parts on his car I should look at to upgrade my crap? How much is it worth?

Re: Si head on d15 bloc?

Im guessing since you have a d15 you have dpfi, so take the mpfi set-up he has...that is probably the most help for a d15.

SI head is the same with the D15,
The camshaft is different. and the bottom crank D16 is bigger.

Get the MPFI, Camshaft, Swaybar, Tranny, and anything thats free

Question

he asked 40$ for is head and 15$ for the intake+ecu. Is that a good deal? I feel like I should just take his intake+ecu because the head isn't that much different from the one I have and it has 40 000 miles more. Any advice?

the intake and the ecu is good deal, i heard you can get an integra ecu for an mpfi conversion (which some say better than the si ecu)

if i were you, just take the cam, cuz the head is the same.
unless if you want to paint the valve cover without down time on your car.
