I'm Right, right???
If I buy a rebuilt head, Mines smoking bad, I't doesn't come with a valve cover. I can use my valve cover off my bad engine with the new head, right???

wait a sec, in what way is it smoking? you mean your car is burning oil? it's more than likely not your head causing it, it's more likely that your bottom end needs rebuilt not the top end. and the answer to your question is yes

Does your car seem to smoke more right away when you start it in the morning or does it just always smoke? If right away in the morning you need to look into new valve seal. If all the time you need to look at a new bottom end. Remember to if you end up putting a new head on and that doesnt cure the smoke the new head will usually cause piston rings to go out even fast. Your best bet might be a swap or possibly another used engine of the same kind. Hope this helps!
