Angry abs

I just did my brakes all the way around, and the abs light is now on and I might they dont work like abs brake anymore. I had to replace the front rotors, never having had done work on abs I was unaware of some of the special parts required. However I did tell the parts person what I had and what I needed and they hooked me up..............a month or so after the brake job I took it all apart to see what I could see and now I see that the rotors they gave me don't have the speed sensor ring on 'em....is this a part I can add to the rotor or is it manufactured right on the rotor.

Re: abs

Most often it is part of the rotor.

Re: abs

the speed sensor ring is almost impossible to swap over. get some hub assembly's from napa or wherever that already have the sensor ring. sometimes you can heat the ring with a torch and press it on but usually this never works. i think it's about $70 a side for the assembly
