Rear Wiper Squeak & Bounce?
Hello,
My rear wiper squeaks and bounces during use. It has from the day I bought it. And only functions quietly during extremely wet conditions. Light wetness causes a major audible distraction. Anyone else have this problem? is there a fix? It isn't just a matter of blade replacement is it? Can I keep my rear window clean and not go insane at the same time? Thanks for any and all help. 2003 SE |

try the blade first. if that doesn't help then pop the plastic off the rear hatch and check the linkage.

Could be a weak spring. Also, since you don't have an intermittent feature like the older ones, it's probably just wiping too frequently and it's skipping because the glass is essentially dry.
