Hello everybody! This is the first model i´m presenting here on AF and i hope you´ll like it!?
I´m not sure, because it´s no Skyline, no Subaru, no Ferrari or Porsche, but just a little Renault 4CV. The bigger 1:1 example was the first car of my father, he drove in the 1960´s and i made him this model as a Christmas gift. This was the kit i´ve taken for this: ![]() Here are 2 pics without the body to see the "engine" ![]() I painted the car with spray cans. "Mercedes Benz-Brilliantsilber" and a simple black. The exhaust is made of a small Vein case (hope it´s the right word ) The grille and all the trims are made with BMF, covered by a clear coat. I´m sorry for this pic.I tried to do this with flash, but it was much too bright. ![]() So let me know what you think!?

Re: Something completly different
welcome to AF, you have done a really good job on this kit. It kinda resembles a '40 Ford and a VW Bug put together.

Re: Something completly different
It's great to see something different! Thank you very much for sharing it!! (Heller kits have never meant to me easy builds...) Well, the next time I see this kit at a hobbyshop, I guess I would take it!...

Re: Something completly different
Welcome to AF! I like that kit a lot, and you've done great, especially with that paint job! Congrats
![]() I assume you own a Corrado, right? I do too, a blue 1990 US-spec G60. I clicked that link on your sig, but I can't read a thing in german

Thank you too, for all your compliments. I´m glad you like it. But the pics really flattering my paint job. @labandabonnot As far as i know, this Heller-kit is out of production. But if you are interested in this kit, maybe i´m able to get another one here in a little shop for 20€ if they still have it. @pettercardoso Well, i think as a Portuguese, you don´t have to read German But your´re right, i have a 94´ VR6 in Aqua-Blue. Here is a link to a Dutch-database where you can find some more about it: Corrado database You should register your own too! And here you will find some pics of our meetings in Dresden: Gallerys You should also take a look at the biggest German Corrado Forum The board language is switchable to English and there´s also a special Forum for international requests. Just call me when you need help. I was always fascinated by your avatar! Where did you get this pic? Selfmade?

Re: Something completly different
Thanks for all the info, I really apreciate that
![]() As for my avatar, I found this image by accident ![]() and worked around a little. I used these wheels and brakes (that you can find here: http://vortex3.rely.net/artman/publish/article_311.shtml) I'm no imaging expert , just cropped and pasted them on...The avatar is so small that you can hardly notice all the mistakes I've done with it ![]() My (to be honest,my father's) Corrado is exactly the same colour as yours, but all stock..for now... ![]()
