Question 1996 or 1998 Pathfinder fuel filter help

Hello! I need help with a 199x Nissan PathFinder Fuel filter. What are the steps needed in order to change the fuel filter? Would I need any special tools? Is it easy? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

The fuel filter is located directly above the rear differential, just look from the rear of the pathfinder and look above the middle of the rear axle slightly closer to the front. Most manuals will tell you to pull the fuel pump fuse and crank the engine several times to clear the fuel lines, but you will still have some fuel in there. Clamp both lines on either side of the fuel filter with channel locks or other clamps. Don't worry about trying to remove the strap holding the fuel filter since it is normally rusted tight anyway, just loosen the clamps on the lines and twist the lines off and slide the filter out. Then insert the new filter, reattach the lines and tighten the clamps.
