'07 Underhood fuse box woes...

I have a 2007 Sierra with a 5.3L extended cab. Everything works great, except for recurring issues with the underhood fuse box.

I am constantly having issues where a headlight and/or running lights, radio, etc, will stop working. The fuses are never blown, however if I tap the area around the fuse under the hood, the system will start working again. At least, start working for a couple days.

I asked a few garages about this and they made it sound like faulty under hood fuse boxes were a common issue with these trucks? They suggested rebuilding the fuse box. Has anyone heard of this?

I have no doubt that the issue is with the fuse box, I would just like a little advice and guidance before just tearing into this.

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
