Too Much Oil Put Into My Honda CRV
My friend put too much oil into my Honda CRV, and now it turns over and but, will not start, and from trying to start it,it kills the battery.
What should I do to fix this problem? I have drained the oil to the proper level on the dip stick, and it still will not start. |

Pull out the plugs. They still may be soaked with oil.
Good luck, Sam

Do you think I should change the oil and buy new plugs? |

Re: Too Much Oil Put Into My Honda CRV
You say you "wiped" off the plugs. I would get something like Carb cleaner and spray them to get the oil coating off. A remaining film of oil could just transfer the electrical current that is suppose to create the spark straight back to the cylinder head without any spark generated.

Clean the plugs so the spark will travel between electrodes. Good luck, Sam
