In the back of the intake duct between the air-cleaner box and throttle body.
You'll find a diagram and parts list here: http://www.myisuzuparts.com/ I found the part (labelled 608 on Figure No. 0-60) but am unable to post a link to the exact page. First select your vehicle year and model. Then do a 'Key word' search for 'sensor temp'. The site is interactive - you can click on part links and 'camera' icons etc. |

FYI- Boritz is right if the Rodeo was built later than 12/05. Look at the sticker on the driver's side door jamb.
If it is an earlier model than that, it is located on the back (passenger side) of the "common chamber" or plenum. Here is a photo of the sensor: http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/c.../HoseLeak1.jpg The IAT is on the right side, with 2 wires connected to it. Good Luck, Dale Last edited by 95.5 Rodeo; 12-02-2010 at 02:07 PM. |

Thanks for the additional info Dale.
Interestingly, my 1997 sensor (Oz, not USA spec) is mounted as per your photo. Anyways, I guess Matt should find his sensor in one or t'other location! |
