1998 ford crown vic windshield wiper motor
Wipers not going back to down position. Changed motor, worked correctly two times. Now wipers are not quite in correct position.....better but not all the way in cradle position?

Are the wiper arms on correctly? One spline off can be a cm or so off of the park position. Otherwise, it may be the multifunction switch or governor.

after installing new motor, positioned wipers to rest in cradles. Worked OK only a couple times. Now wipers are stop at position couple inches from cradles?
