Eventually settled out of court and the suit was dropped. Liquidated the rest of my stock, paid off the owner of the patent, and still walked away with a few grand in my pocket. Worth it? Who knows.

Jaded? Why not? What exciting things can be thrown at me that I have no dealt with already? Growing up without a father? Check. Growing up feeling awkward? check. Growing up without anyone. Never connecting, Never getting the whole relationship thing. Never having anyone in your life? Check. I moved over 3,000 miles to get away from everyone I knew. I still don't feel like I've escaped. There is no escape.
