That reminds me, a toothbrush I designed last year just got full funding though kickstarter to go into production. My first mass produced product.

We've been getting them here too. I was sitting here chilling out after work the other day and a wicked thunderstorm rolled in out of no where. I saw lightning strike less than 300 yards from my house. At that point I started shutting off all the big electrical stuff in the house. LOL

I know, right!? Except, I was out in the garage welding, and the wind started blowing water sideways into the garage... so it's like, unplug the welder, and then shut the garage door, before I get electrocuted.

Nifty idea. If I had any teeth I'd buy one with all my BJ money. But then again, I guess I wouldn't be making that $ if I had teeth.

12 volts never hurt anyone :-P
A car doesn't have enough amperage @12vdc to really do any harm to a human.

I do deal with some hybrids that run in excess of 350vdc that'll do some damage. And then yeah, there's Tesla... But both the hybrids and Tesla's are typically sealed systems, that can also detect insulator failure and disconnect the batteries from the rest of the system.

Home electricity doesn't have very good safeguards, by comparison ;-)
I could get shocked by a 115 or 230 outlet all day long, without tripping the breaker.

It'll be funny if Tesla does trucks. They haven't even figured out how to do cars yet.

Did you read the Tesla Master Plan Phase 2? They're going to make Semi's too.
