I can't stand wood eating utensils so now wooden spoons for me. I also hate these friggin wooden handle knives my mother bought me.

I don't mind them. I try to not handle knives much anyways, at work they confiscate anything sharp from me. They've took a ton of razor blades away from me when they catch me playing with them. I always end up getting hurt on accident with anything sharp.

You know, after some thought. Maybe a 8 year old is perfect for you .

A police officer, allowed to carry a loaded gun but can't handle sharp objects, what is the world coming to

They have sporks in England?. I would think you guys are too civilized to eat a meal with a spork. Just us fat Americans will use anything to pile the food into our pie holes

Chopsticks are easy to use, just takes a little practice. Besides, its a great diet tool when you can only eat one grain of rice at a time.

Wow. No sporks. How do you manage over there? Sporks are great, for those of us who are too damn lazy to pick up one of each you can eat yogurt and spaghetti with the same utensil. Not that I would recommend it.

Re: Banter Thread Part 3 (Back with a Vengeance, this time its personal)

now, on to the important stuff - torque wrenches. i'm thinking of getting one, and i've chosen Teng as the manufacturer. anyone have experience with Teng? they look quality and their price is reasonable for high-quality tools.

i'm thinking of torque wrench (~50-130lb/ft) 13-piece hand wrench/spanner set, 10-piece impact socket set and various couplings/extensions/etc..

Re: Banter Thread Part 3 (Back with a Vengeance, this time its personal)

Are you planning on using the tools here in the states when you come over? If so, wait until you get here to buy them. The major vendors (snap-on, matco, cornwell etc.) have lifetime warranties on most of their hand tools. Buying them there and bringing them here could be a hassle for warranty issues. As for Teng, never heard of them before.
