1997 Chevy Silverado Z71 5.7....
OBD2 codes P1860 & P1870 .......
Could all reply to what these codes are . We own a 1997 Chevy Silverado w/ a 5.7 - 4 wd....and these codes appeared. Please email ASAP @ nkwaun@webtv.net |

Hi the code P1860 is TCC PWM Solenoid Circuit Electrical. I looked up P1870 if the GM service manual and it indicates that P1870 is Transmission Component Slipping. You may need a valve body due to your TCC regulator valve and bushing wearing out. It is believed that this is mainly due to insufficient fluid changes. Hope this helps fix your problem.
