Question - Would Traction Control work?
I'm considering getting a new used car sometime over the next several months. Basically, I want a compact SUV or high sitting wagon.
One of the places I might use my vehicle would be on a boat ramp which can be a bit slick at times. If the car were 2WD with Traction Control, would the TC kick in on a ramp if 1 front wheel slipped? Also, what would happen if both front wheels slipped? I think that I read somewhere that if both front wheels had no traction, the TC rear wheels wouldn't kick in anyway. I assume that with a AWD vehicle, even if 3 wheels lost traction, one wheel would still try to move the vehicle. Harry |
