I know about the 96-98 Keyless, but what about 99?
Hey guys I need your help, I know about the 96-98 civics with stock keyless that you have to keep the old stock unit in there. But my question is my brother just bought a 99 EX with stock keyless entry, and he doesn't want to take out the old deck and find out that he still needs to go through all the hassle as if he had a 96-98. So my question is do you need to do anything special to install an aftermarket cd player into a 99ex with stock keyless? Thanks a lot inadvance

they changed the setup after 96-98, so after those years, you won't need to keep the stock unit floating around back there. so a 99 should be fine if you wanna get a new head unit.
