Mustang Question

My mom is going to buy a 94 Ford Mustang Convertible, and I need to know if there is anything I should check that is problematic on the Mustang?

Also, if anyone could check a carfax report for the vin, that would be awesome. The VIN is 1falp444rf139668.

Re: Mustang Question

94 was the first year of that body style, called 'SN 95'. There were two versions, the GT, with the good old 5.0 (302) or a V6.

With any Mustang, you need to make sure it hasn't been abused - they are a popular 'Boy Racer' car.

There aren't any specific things I can think of, just stuff that's common to all cars; Look for rust, check the clutch, brakes, steering, maybe take it to a mechanic for a checkout.

The good news is that there are a lot of parts available for these cars, and repairs and such aren't too expensive.
