for people that have a dewoo:
i know alot about cars and from what iv seen on the roads, websites ect.... i guss that dewoo isn't the car that people are looking for so if you have any comments but just people that KNOW tell us things about the dewoo and you might be able to make nicer reputation on the company.

Daewoo... LMAO Has to be 1 of the worst vechiles ever made. Like the Old sayin goes "Ya get what u payed for" And if u bought a Daewoo do yerself and the car a favor and put it out of it's misery.
Did u know..? In the 80's, Daewoo made the small Pontiac LeMans sedan sold in north america. It was based on an old Opel (GM) design. No wunder the Pontiac Lemans of the 80's was such a POS it was made by Daewoo lol...

Re: for people that have a dewoo:
I don't own a Dawoo, but I would buy a economy model based on my experience with my two Pontiac Lemans'. The first is a great car, a no frills 2 dr hatch back, My second LeMans, a 1990 4 dr sedan, came with AC, AT, & PS. It is much more difficult to work on due to the added hoses, belts, and pumps (especially the unneed PS). Both cars are well built and dependable except for minor electricall problems.
Problems: AC/heater controls/blower controls. The blower swithch melts down about every 50,000 miles, but is easilly replaced after the first time and only cost about $15. Problems: Headlight switch. It also melts down, especially with frequent use of the dome light. It is a little harder to figure out the first time, but fairly simple there after. It cost about $20 Problems: The Power steering add-on is more in the way than a benefit. Also I'm looking for a parts source (supension, etc) for the Dewoo made LeMans if anyone has one. |

Re: for people that have a dewoo:
I donīt think its true that īyou get what you pay forī I pay about $13000 for my Lanos and I feel like I pay too litle cause the car runs great, much better than other cars on the same price range here in my country, and after 5 years since I bouth it new, it stills feels like new but specially it looks like new, no joke! Iīm so happy with it, and Iīm no used to cheap cars, cause I also drive a Primera and sometimes my moms C-class, but this Daewoo delivers!

Re: for people that have a dewoo:
Yep I just bought a Musso hell of a lot cheaper than equivalent RR, Disco, HiLux etc all Merc running gear so guaranteed mechanically sound however seem to be issues with door locks by all accounts.
Any one here got a Musso as I can't find the switch for the Rear Wiper, or is it supposed to work when the front ones are on? |
