Thinking of buying a AMC Rambler (Renault) 1966
Good evening (My local time),
First of all I like to introduce myself. My name is Wilfred 61 years old, living in The Netherlands with my wife and sun. My present Old-timer car is a 1979 Jaguar XJ6 4.2 Series 3 which I own for 13 years now, done a lot of restoring, the last big job was the engine. The reason for registration to this forum is that I am about to buy a 1966 AMC Rambler car, which is in a pretty good shape, but with some work to do. Motor is running nicely, brakes have been restored, as well as the fuel tank and hoses. I would like to learn from the knowledge on this forum prior and hopefully after the purchase. I'm also curious where to order spare parts, as there are not many cars left here in the Europe, especially The Netherlands. So, many thanks for the attention and have a great day. Wilfred |

Re: Thinking of buying a AMC Rambler (Renault) 1966
Hello Wilfred! Welcome to the forum! It's great that you're restoring classic cars like your Jaguar and now considering the AMC Rambler. For spare parts, there are a few online retailers that specialize in American classic car parts, even for rarer models like the Rambler. Websites like RockAuto, Classic Industries, or AMC specific forums and clubs can be a good starting point. Best of luck with your purchase and restoration!
