LOL, yeah, i would buy it reeeeeally cheap if i could and try and keep it as a project car. Right now, it will probably be the same pain in the ass amount of mainenece and crap as my current car.

i think the dmc's look hot painted, but i could never bring myself to do it, the stainless is just too cool for that

Doh!
There are enough painted De Loreans for sale that one should NOT paint one that is currently Stainless Steel. I think the car looks good either way, but if you've got the stainless now... PLEASE don't change that. Just go out and buy one that is already painted!

Good idea!
I owned two at one point. I got rid of the Stainless Steel one because modding that would have been blasphemous! It was showroom fresh. The painted one is definitely more fun (at least to me, since I like mods).
