The spoilers on the Evo VIII are carbon fiber i belive. And they look amazing. Just my opinion.

Re: spoilers

"Normally I'd agree with you...but if your going for that full on race car look....then the aluminum wing would go perfect with what your trying to do"

^u dont put a wing on the rear of a fwd car for a 'full on race car look' it serves no purpose. u dont need downforce in the back, the rear wheels dont need traction; u want downforce on the front, putting more pressure/weight on the front tires. - - personally i'd skip the wing and buy something else thats useful, but if u want a wing cf usually looks the best, n u can get dif. colors in tha weave. thou plain cf i think looks tha most clean

Re: spoilers

^^ added down force in the back of any car will help with traction and control, although usually a wing on a FWD car wont help a whole lot unless your going like 100++

Re: spoilers

yeah, i would say any traction is good traction. Staying in contact with the ground is a GOOD thing

Re: Re: spoilers

well one thing is carbon fiber is the lightest spoiler you can get and another thing is its resistant to hail damage if you live where it hails. Another thing is yeah it does serve a purpose if you get canards in the front of your car to match your spoiler it makes it aerodynamic when you turn not just at high speeds. Unless you have canards in the front of your car than a spoiler is actually bad for your car because it adds weight where your car wasn't meant to have weight you know
