I dunno about panache... there are so many small-volume american cars at this point... the viper, the next 2003 viper, the vette, vette z06 and new z06 (405 hp), panoz esperante, series 1, k2, mt900, s7.... out of all of those, I still rank the shelby somewhere near the bottom.... but thats just my opinion. the z06 405, the viper, the s7, the mt900, the k2 all would probably run as fast or faster, and the mt900, viper, and z06 would all cost way less... not to mention you could almost get 4 (!) z06's for the price of one shelby 1....
but, hey, however you define panache... that's all you, k? dan

I know a link that is good about giving specs and stuff for just about any car there is. My friend told me about the site about a month ago and I think it is the best site to go for cars that are new and used. the site is http://www.conceptcars.com have fun looking at a lot of kick ass cars there including the Shelby Series 1.
