P0335 Code: 2006 Avalanche 1500 5.3 V8

Long story short, truck was running great, parked it and came back 2 days later to a crank but no start. Giving a P0335 Code. Going to list all the info I have so far but I've ran out of ideas. Any suggestions before I throw in the towel?

1. Replaced crankshaft position sensor with one that did not say it required re-learn procedure, attempted to clear the code but still no start.
2. Wire harness and connections to the sensor look good, fuel pump engages when the circuit is completed.
3. RPM's do not register when attempting to crank
4. Tested the old sensor with a voltmeter and it was completing the circuit so I'm thinking the old sensor was fine.
5. Fuel is making it through the system, depressed the schrader valve after turning the truck on and off a few times and did get fuel to come out.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!
