1977 Transam T/A 6.6 (Bandit model)

In need of Power steering pulley.

Bought the above but when installed, problems with mounting.

The part recommended as replacement above and even bought a pump and now pump fits pulley mounting a problem.

Anyone with info.

So are you saying you can't get the pulley back on? Most auto parts stores will rent you the tool set. Some places it is free. You pay to rent and get $$ back when you return the tool.

The tool is not the problem. The parts warehouse issued an incorrect pulley i.e one with (2) V belts and required pulley has (1). THE SPACING WAS PROBLEM.

Got an original at a Camaro specialty parts depot. Problem now solved and Power steering O.K.

tHANKS.......
