very rare
I know this is the first engine they came with (other than the 221 in the very first body, but it only ran once, in England). I was wondering how many were made.

Let's see, the Mustang came out in April of '64 and didn't offer the 289 for a few months. How many small-block Cobras were built before, say, August, 1964?
