triump tr7

got a 76 tr7 cuts out at high speed when you punch it, it kinda like you hit the brake, did a tune up ie:new plugs cap wires, the ballast resister wire should be 1.3 to 1.5 ohms but is 2.3 to 2.5 ohms looks like coil is replaced coil says on it lucas coil 12 v type ha12 irc 050 12v use 5 ohm ballast please help do you think it`s the coil or the ballast resister wire cleveland please help if you know some one that might know tell them an let me know thanks a lot
